Frequently Asked
Questions

What kind of machines do you work on?

I offer repair for all solid state pinball machines from 1978 – Current (that means it must have a digital score display). I support Bally, Williams, Stern, Data East, SEGA, Gottlieb, Premiere, and more. I have partners that I can refer you to who offer repairs for Video Game Arcade machines, Juke Boxes, Slot Machines, Air Hockey Tables, and more.

What if I don’t know what my machine needs?

No worries. Diagnosing issues is my specialty. I’ll test your game, find what is broken and make suggestions for repairs. I bring the most commonly needed parts with me to repair your machine on the first visit. However I may need to order parts and return for a second visit to finish your repair.

How do you charge?

For in-home repairs, I charge $250 for the first hour then $175 per/hr. plus any parts needed. There is a one hour minimum. If you are located more than 50 miles away from 22033 there may be a travel fee of up to $150. I work quickly and efficiently to minimize my client’s time and total costs. Restorations prices are based on the work needed/requested and are billed on a project basis.

Do you Offer LED Conversions?

YES! Lighting is one of my favorite things to do. There have been so many advancements in LED lighting that will make your machine look better, run cooler, and be more attractive. This may include installation of additional circuit boards to control the new LED lighting. Many lighting upgrades are also possible including under-cabinet lighting, additional playfield lights, and back-box lighting.

How does billing work?

I prepare and send an invoice to you via email. Once you’ve reviewed the invoice, payment can be made through the link in the email using Visa, MC, or Discover. I also accept Venmo, Check, or Cash. You will receive a confirmation and receipt by email.

Do you work on circuit boards and wiring?

Yes. I can diagnose and repair board components as well as install new circuit boards, electronics, displays, and more. Often times issues such as a locked on solenoid is caused by a shorted transistor which can be repaired on the spot. Other times I may need to take your circuit board back to my shop for repair.
